About the Artist KickAss Martians Guide and Manifesto: KickAss Martians was founded in the Spring of 1997 by guitarist Cock McConnel and vocalist/producer Albert Thorn. The pair had been working together in the realms of music and film for over seven years, and committed to a yearlong project that would combine their various music influences and serve as a launching pad for a live touring show. Veteran drummer Alex Arson was brought in to add that elusive element that boxers call "punch". The culmination of the endeavor is Hard Pop, the KickAss Martians debut CD.
